The new-and-improved 5-piece Stage Custom Birch Cranberry Red shell set by Yamaha features all kinds of new technology for serious beginners and advanced players alike. The Stage Custom Birch set is equipped with a number of enhancements including rounded bearing edges for more contact with the head, resulting in a bigger sound. The mounting system for the lugs also ensures better resonance.

Strong shells

The shells in the improved Yamaha Stage Custom Birch shell set are made of six plies of birch. This type of wood produces especially high volume levels, which makes this set particularly suitable for live performances. It's a shell set with a powerful attack and excellent projection.

Drum heads

This Stage Custom shell set is equipped with Remo Ambassador Clear drum heads for the toms and Remo's Diplomat series for the bottom heads. The bass drum has a wooden hoop and a Remo Powerstroke 3 drum head. Yamaha have equipped the toms with 1.5mm triple-flanged hoops.
